Extempore Theatre is proud to be hosting the amazing Becky Johnson who is in London for a week and will be running a workshop into her remarkable brand of improv.
Here are the details:
Improv Dynamics with Becky Johnson
Friday March 20th from 6.30pm – 9.00pm. Cost £12.
Although contemporary improvised theatre leans heavily on narrative storytelling, it also relies on fewer narrative arcs.
This workshop is an exploration of the hidden, non-narrative elements of improvised scenework (character, relationship, comedic dynamics, metaphor) and their fusion with storytelling.
Don’t worry, we will goof around while we work on all this stuff.
